QC Hearts & Minds: A QCHI Project
The QC Hearts and Minds Team seeks to help Quad Citizens live healthy from the inside out.
All residents of the Quad Cities.
Start Date/Current Status
The project team assembled in June 2008 and has created a collaborative plan for action. Team Workgroups will implement the plan for the benefit of all the residents of the Quad Cities.
Project Goals and Objectives
- Increase the community's understanding of mental health/mental illness and thus reduce the stigma associated with mental health care
- Preserve and increase access to care for persons with mental illness
- Promote mental health as integral to our overall health and well-being
